The Reverend Allan Carson
The Reverend Allan Carson Rector
The Reverend Allan Carson became the Rector of St. John’s effective September 1, 2014. Al celebrated twenty years of ordained ministry in 2014. He is married to Dianne. They currently have ten children.

Al’s door is almost always open if you would like to stop by for coffee and a chat. (He takes his black!)

“always be ready to give a reasoned answer to anyone who asks you to explain the hope you have in you” (1 Peter 3: 15) Nothing could be more fun!

Don Forbes
Don ForbesRector's Warden
Don was appointed Rector’s Warden in February 2016. He has been an active member of the congregation for more than 34 years and has held numerous leadership positions as well as being an active member on Diocese committees. He is a retired school teacher and co-owner of Kinkora Golf Course just a block from the Church and is married to Heather Forbes. They have five adult children.

Gordon Jackson
Gordon JacksonPeople's Warden
Gordon Jackson was elected to his position in February 2013. He is, by profession, a farmer but is probably best known as a local historian.

He is married to Elaine and has been a devoted parishioner for more than fifty years.

Gail Putz
Gail PutzPeople's Warden
Gail is a cradle Anglican. She was born on Vancouver Island. She moved to New Westminster when she was 15 and has been a member of a number of parishes in the Diocese, and in Fort St.John. She moved to Chilliwack and St. John’s four years ago and has been an active member of the parish ever sense.

She was elected as People’s Warden in February 2018 and is looking forward to a new challenge. She continues to be one of our Synod Delegates. She has a daughter and grand-children locally and is enjoying being with them.

The Rev. Miranda Sutherland

St. John’s Anglican Church was pleased to welcome to our church family The Rev. Miranda Sutherland in September 2018. Her ministry in the Diocese of New Westminster was first as Rector, Christ Church Hope for approximately a year. Prior to that she served as a priest in the Diocese of Edmonton for two years. Rev. Miranda is a Caribbean native from the Diocese of Jamaica and the Cayman, where she was ordained Deacon June 26, 2009 and Priest July 3, 2011.
The Rev. Larry Adkins
The Rev. Larry AdkinsDeacon
Larry has been a member of the parish since 1996 and was ordained a deacon in June 2005. He served in the Canadian Army as a planning and operational logistics officer for 34 years prior to his retirement. He is married to Ann, a Social Worker, and they have one adult son.
